sodium silicate liquid
Liquid sodium silicate, commonly known as water glass, appeared to be viscous liquid. Water glass coated on the surface of the metal will form alkali metal silicate and SiO2 gel film, so that the metal is protected from external acid, alkali and other corrosion.
Usage
1. Used as a binder to bond glass, ceramics, asbestos, wood, plywood, etc.
2. Used in the manufacture of refractory materials, white carbon, acid-resistant cement.
3. Used as a slurry and impregnating agent in the textile industry, used as a dye-fixing agent and dye mordant in the textile dyeing and pattern pressing, and an added weight for silk fabric.
4. Dispersed colloidal SiO2 of water glass added in leather production facilitates leather softness.
5. To preserve eggs, prevent microorganisms from entering the eggshell gap in the food industry.
6. Deprive the pigment and resin out of sugar liquid in the sugar industry.
